Use the Center


To host an event, class or meeting at the Center, or to rent the Center for private use, please contact the Advocates through email cvillecommunitycenter@gmail.com or phone (530) 288-5016, or speak to one of the CCC Advocates.

All uses of the Center must be consistent with the mission of the Center and with being a good neighbor to the residences and businesses in Camptonville. The mission of the Center is to increase the well-being and the quality of life of individuals, families, and children in the Camptonville Community Service District (CCSD) by gathering and hosting public and private events. 

Generally, events and activities fall into one of the following categories:

COMMUNITY EVENTS - A Community Event is an event that is open to the public, is non-partisan, and is not a private, commercial or profit-making enterprise. Examples include community meetings, dances, game nights or memorials.     *Use fee for Community Events

FUNDRAISERS - A Fundraiser is an event that is open to the public, is non-partisan, and is for the benefit of a non-profit or not-for-profit organization. *Use fee for Fundraisers

CLASSES - A class is an educational event that may either be ongoing, or one-time, and is open to the public, is non-partisan, and is not a private, commercial or profit-making enterprise. Generally, a use fee of at least $3 per student per class is requested, with a minimum donation of $10 per class.

PRIVATE RENTALS - A Private Rental is a rental by a private party or organization for an event, party, meeting or performance meeting that is not open to the public, or that is primarily for the benefit of a private party or profit-making enterprise.    *Fee Schedule for Private Rentals

USE FEES as of May 1, 2024 (rates and dates are subject to change)

Fundraisers: A use fee of at least 10% of the net profit from the fundraiser, not to exceed $100, is requested for Fundraisers.

Private Events

Summer Rates April 15-October 15

  • $150 up to 8 hours for private events such as parties or all-day business meetings.
  • Memorial services for Camptonville residents are free of charge but donations are 

Winter Rates October 16-April 14

  • $200 up to 8 hours for private events such as parties or business meetings
  • Memorial services for Camptonville residents are free of charge but donations are appreciated
 Meetings/Presentations (2-3 hours with minimal kitchen use)

    Summer Rates April 15-October 15

    • $50-non-resident
    • $40-Camptonville residents
    • No charge for local* non-profits but donations are appreciated

    Winter Rates October 16-April 14

    • $75-non-resident
    • $65-Camptonville residents
    •  No charge for local* non-profits but donations are appreciated
Community Events - no set rate; hosts are asked to collect donations to help support the Center.

 *Local” means people living or working within the boundaries of the Camptonville Community Services District, as well as organizations, groups, or clubs with members who live or work within those boundaries.
